Top Player Playoff Picks
for June 17th 2025
Edmonton Oilers @ Florida Panthers
8:00 PM ET
Edmonton Oilers
Connor McDavid (C, EDM) - Leads all playoff scorers with 32 points (6 goals, 26 assists) in 20 games. He’s a dominant offensive force and has at least one point in 18 of 20 playoff games this postseason.
Leon Draisaitl (C, EDM) - Has continued to be a clutch performer and is among the league leaders in playoff points. He’s a key part of Edmonton’s top power play and is healthy for tonight’s game.
Evan Bouchard (D, EDM) - Bouchard is one of the top-scoring defensemen in the playoffs, quarterbacking the power play and consistently putting up points from the blue line.
Stuart Skinner/Calvin Pickard (G, EDM) - The Oilers have not named their starting goalie for game 6. Both Stuart Skinner and Calvin Pickard are available, but neither has been confirmed as the Game 6 starter. For DFS purposes, you may want to avoid selecting an Oilers goaltender unless a starter is officially announced before lineup lock.
If you must pick one: Stuart Skinner has postseason experience and a strong record in elimination games, but Pickard is also in consideration after recent starts.
Florida Panthers
Aleksander Barkov (C, FLA) - Barkov is a two-way star and one of Florida’s top playoff point producers. He’s healthy and will be relied upon in all situations.
Matthew Tkachuk (LW, FLA) - Tkachuk is healthy and “feeling the best” he has all postseason. He’s a clutch performer and a key part of Florida’s top line.
Sam Bennett (C, FLA) - Leads the Panthers in playoff goals and is a physical, high-impact player who’s healthy and producing. He’s been a consistent offensive threat throughout the postseason.
Sergei Bobrovsky (G, FLA) - Bobrovsky is confirmed as the starter and has been the backbone of Florida’s run, with a strong GAA and save percentage throughout the playoffs. He’s healthy and ready for tonight’s game.
